The Life Story Of My Phone

October 4, 2010

This post has been conceptualized for IndiBlogger’s “Share Life Blogger Contest” in collaboration with Tata Docomo. Tata DOCOMO has launched Alcatel OneTouch Net phone to help you share life as you live it. Go check it out !! This post is for the subtopic “If looks could kill – my phone would be a killer!”.

I bought my current phone from my first salary in 2008, It was the latest slick model at that time and made a style statement. I have it for two years now and due to the rapidly changing and evolving Cell Phone market, it has become obsolete now. And as I carry my phone around, I always feel my phone (and hence me) would be feeling so pithy and old style among all the new uber cool models. I imagine following will be the Conversation that my phone will have with the current generation:

PS: Please generously donate to help me buy a new phone, I am no more stylish and chic, you know.

First phone is always special. Show some love and respect to that piece of device, afterall in 2008 it did helped you make a style statement.

Amusing cartoon sketch. I still have the first phone we bought (looks almost like a cordless). I refuse to part with them because I believe 50 years from now, they will be classified as antiques similar to the Heritage Cars and Planes of yore. And might fetch exuberant prices at auctions.

PS: Even I am saving up for a smart phone though. Check out Nokia’s N900. Though big in size and doesn’t have a capacitative screen, I still found it to be good and better than others.

PS2: Two new posts and both dedicated to the communicating device?
